WASHINGTON, IL - Aid is finally on the way for towns ravaged in central Illinois.

Following months of Federal Aid denial from FEMA, Governor Pat Quinn will announce later Wednesday a $45,000,000 relief packaged.

The state's multi-agency relief package for local governments includes assistance from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (IDCEO), the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Illinois Finance Authority (IFA), the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA).

Each agency is providing a different amount of money toward the relief effort.
