Happy 'Jackie Robinson West' Day!

CHICAGO -- The U.S. Little League World Series champions are being honored In Chicago.

Jackie Robinson West players stood on the field as hundreds of people cheered them on. It marks the first time a team comprised of all African-Americans had gone as far as they had in the Little League World Series to end up crowned national champions.  The team lost the World Series title game to South Korea.

Governor Pat Quinn declared today 'Jackie Robinson West National Champions Day' in illinois.
