Judge Says Rauner's Term Limits Measure Won't Appear On November Ballot

CHICAGO - Gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner's push for term limits hits a major snag.

Cook County Judge Mary Mikva ruled Friday the measure can't appear on the ballot for the November election.  Mivka says it doesn't meet constitutional requirements.

It's a major setback for Rauner.  He pushed term limits as a significant part of his campaign.

However, there is still a chance for term limits.  Advocates say they'll appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court as early as next week.
