WTVO/WQRF - July 4th isn't until Friday, but job seekers are already celebrating.
The latest jobs report from the Dept. of Labor shows the U.S. economy added 288,000 jobs in June. June marks the fifth straight month employers have added 200,000 jobs.
The last time that happened was in 1999.
The report also showed a slight drop in unemployment. It dipped to 6.1% in May. It was 6.3%.
