Made in the Stateline: 425 Manufacturing's Christmas Gift

WTVO/WQRF - Our Made in the Stateline this week is a follow up to a company we've already profiled, but with a Christmas twist.

425 Manufacturing Owner Mike Thomason made a special trip to the Genoa-Kingston Fire Station with gifts.  Firefighters will now be equipped with special clips that'll attach to their helmets.  The clips will hold tactical flashlights.

The company did something similar last year for Stillman Valley's department.  A resident saw it, reached out to 425, and asked if Thomason would be interested in doing the same thing this Christmas for Genoa-Kingston.

"We made them from scratch out of solid billet aluminum," said Thomason.  "They're black anodized.  The bolts are put in and then we laser-etched [them]."

Thomason brought 54 of the clips with him.  He says its his and his employees' way to give back to the community.
