UPDATE (8/12/14) - Another victim comes forward in the sexual abuse case of a Rockford doctor.

The Law Offices of Michael Gravlin, based out of Chicago, filed a lawsuit on behalf of Rockford resident, Susan Beesely.  The suit alleges Dr. Charles DeHaan assaulted and battered her in 2013.  In addition to DeHaan, Beesely is also suing Housecall Physicians Group of Rockford and Converge Home Health Care.  The lawsuit claims those businesses knew about DeHaan's action and continued to let him perform home visits.

Beesely is seeking damages in the amount of $50,000.  DeHaan has been accused of sexually assaulting 12 patients between 2009 and 2012.

DES PLAINES - Dr. Charles DeHaan now faces sexual assault charges out of Des Plaines.

DeHaan is charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

The incidents allegedly started in January 2009 and were ongoing for three and a half years, all taking place at the victim's home.

The police report says the victim underwent surgery and required home health care.  DeHaan made the home visits under the pretext of performing a physical medical examination.

It continues to say DeHaan fondled the victim and exposed himself.  Police say due to the victim's medical condition, she was unable to prevent DeHaan's actions.

DeHaan's medical license has already been temporarily suspended after sex abuse allegations came to light.  He's also charged with Medicare fraud and has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
