WTVO/WQRF - Poll says majority of Illinois voters want fresh faces in Springfield.

A Paul Simon Public Policy Institute Poll shows a whopping 79% of voters are in favor of term limits in some form.

Authors of the report say people are unhappy with redistricting and "politics as usual".  GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Bruce Rauner says he's in support of term limits.  In fact, he's circulating a petition hoping to allow voters to decide on term limits in the November election.

However, critics of term limits are concerned if it does happen, it could weaken the power of the General Assembly and inadvertently give more power to the Governor's office.
