The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners has scheduled a disciplinary hearing for Epperson for Monday, August 25 complaint filed against Epperson by the police union after he allegedly interfered with a wellness check at the home of local NAACP president Lloyd Johnston in October.
Shortly after the ruling, Epperson's attorney, Thomas McGuire, filed a continuance motion with the board which was denied.
Late Thursday afternoon, Epperson's attorney filed yet another motion for continuance citing a back injury to himself. The board granted the motion, and the hearing is continued to September 10th.
