May 21, 2012 (ROCKFORD, Ill.) -- The body of Terry McFaddin, 52 was found on the banks of the Rock River Monday afternoon.

Investigators say he was last seen dropping friends off by boat at the Verdi in downtown Rockford around 3:00am Sunday morning, but family say it was the Lombardi Club.

Authorities discovered his empty pontoon boat on the east side of the Rock River. Rescuers searched the river banks all morning and found his body-- it was located in the center of the river about 200 yards south of where his boat was found.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The case is still under investigation.
