SPRINGFIELD - It's a bill that garnered rare bipartisanship from state democrats and republicans.

The Illinois Senate voted unanimously in favor of outlawing revenge porn, that is posting explicit photos of intimate friends or ex-lovers.  The bill calls for a maximum three years in prison and a $25,000 fine.  It would also make it a crime for a hosting website to require payment to remove the pictures.

The American Civil Liberties Union, however, argues the bill could infringe upon the First Amendment, which is right to free speech.  However, supporters of the bill say the pictures are of an "obscene nature" and are not protected.
