Rockford Man Accused of Dealing Crystal Meth and Date Rape Drugs

Steven Ward, 32, was arrested after a search of a Loves Park home.

LOVES PARK - A man has been arrested for allegedly dealing crystal methamphetamine and Gamma Hydroxybutyric Acid, commonly referred to as the "date rape drug."

Steven Ward, 32, of Rockford, was arrested Thursday after police searched a home in the 5800 block of Beechwood Drive in Loves Park. There they found 51 grams of crystal meth and 599 grams of the date rape drug.

Ward is charged with possession with intent to deliver both drugs.
