Rockford Police Respond To Two More Shootings

One fatal on Royal Avenue and the other injuring three at Auburn Manor

ROCKFORD - Saturday was a busy day for Rockford Police after a spree of shootings occurred throughout most of the evening. The first happened at around 6p.m. near the Fairgrounds Valley Apartments on Underwood and Jefferson Street. Information on that shooting is on the attached link.

Later in the evening police responded to two more shootings. The first happened a little after 9 p.m. on the 300 block of Royal Avenue, where police say that a 25 year old man died from gunshots wounds.

The second shooting occurred at the Auburn Manor Apartment Complex. Police say two males and a female were shot outside of apartment 4104. The three victims are said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.
