Small Plane Crashes at Chicago-Rockford International Airport

ROCKFORD - A small plane crashed at the Chicago-Rockford International Airport on Monday morning.

At 9:30am, a single-engine Cessna 172 airplane with only the pilot on board crash-landed at the airport. 

According to Deputy Chief Brian Kunce with the Chicago Rockford Airport Fire Department, no one was injured.

The Cessna's flight originated in Iowa, on it's way to Rockford.

The FAA is investigating what led to the crash.
