PECATONICA - Around 200 riders met at the Pecatonica fair grounds on Sunday to try and break the Guinness World Record for the longest line of motorcycles moving at one time.

Bikers came from all around the country for the event, and the goal was not only to make history but also donate all proceeds to homeless students in the area.

Lewis Tucker Jr. coordinated the event, and says the main goal is to help the kids: “Just to help them, so they can get to the point where they can graduate. Our goal is to help give them a few of the comforts that everyone else has so they will actually want to continue on in school,” he says.

The group was 27 riders short of breaking the record.
