STILLMAN VALLEY - ComEd crews repaired multiple downed power lines in Stillman Valley Sunday afternoon, where a strong storm caused major damage Saturday.
The storm rolled through just before 5 p.m. yesterday. The bulk of the damage occurred in the 6000 block of N. Stillman Rd. A barn there was reduced to a mangled pile of rubble; pieces of it scattered across miles of farm fields. Plenty of power poles and lines were taken down by the storm as well. ComEd had multiple crews on the scene doing repairs.
Stillman Rd. was closed for most of the day from Macklin Rd. to Cox Rd.
The First Warn Weatherisk will remain Moderate for Saturday night.
