WTVO/WQRF - The First Warn Weatherisk remains Low for Thursday afternoon.
A low pressure system out west is channeling warm air and moisture into our area, which is why we've been seeing cloudy skies today along with temperatures in the mid 40°s. The low has increased our winds as well, and they will stay in the teens for the afternoon with a few wind gusts at around 25 mph. We will stay fairly warm for the overnight as the low continues bringing warm air and moisture into our area, with overnight temperatures staying in the low 40°s. However, we can't rule out a light rainfall with the moisture moving.
Our chances for rain increase as we head into Friday night as the low strengthens, and we could even see a couple thunderstorms tomorrow evening. We will also see a little bit of rain for Saturday and Sunday, with the rain clearing out by Sunday night. However, our temperatures will climb into the upper 60°s for Friday and those warm temperatures stay with us for the weekend, before slightly cooling to the upper 50°s as we head into next week.
