MONTICELLO, Ill. -- The Lee County coroner has not released the cause of death of the woman killed at the Paw Paw rest stop, but Eyewitness News is learning more about her.

44-year-old Tonya Bargman called Monticello, Illinois her home. The small town southwest of Champaign is where she and her husband raised their family.

She was driving back from a work convention in Milwaukee when she was killed. Bargman worked at Central Illinois Bank Centre.

Frequent customers there say they can't believe what happened to her.

"I was just devastated, I just couldn't believe that it was her. Very sad for her family."

Customers describe Bargman as cheery with a caring personality, and a life that ended much too soon.
