ROCKFORD - Two are arrested, accused of stealing thousands from their Belvidere employer.

24-year-old Carlos Dorado and 28-year-old Fernando Rivera are both charged with felony theft.

Police searched a home in the 4900 block of Pepper Drive in Rockford, seizing thousands of dollars worth of vehicle airbags. They are believed to be stolen from Syncreon, a supplier to Chrysler in Belvidere.

Police say Dorado and Rivera stole over 150 airbags from their employer over the past year.
