UPDATE (8/4/14) - Police have identified the victim as 16 year-old Jose Carruthers-Paramo of Beloit.

A second victim is still recovering and has not been able to be interviewed by police.  Another victim, has been identified as 20 year-old Robert Brandon.

BELOIT, WI--One man is pronounced dead following a shooting at Summit Park in Beloit.

Another victim is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Two others were injured in the shooting with non-life threatening injuries.

Neighbors say that they heard shots fired around 8:40 pm and came outside to see what was happening.

That's when they say a group was standing in front of the park and firing shots.

"I would say it's getting pretty bad,” said resident, Ulysses Sarabia.

This isn't the first time there's been a shooting in Summit Park, and residents in the area are worried.

"It should be controlled more, and it's scary because there's tons of kids around here and especially because it was right across the street from a school,” said resident, Sarah turner.

Police are still investigating and encourage anyone with information to call.
