UPDATE (3/19/14): There are two lucky winners in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.
The winning tickets were sold in Maryland and Florida. Neither winner has come forward yet. Each have six months to do so.
The jackpot was $400 million, the sixth largest lottery prize in U.S. history. If both winners pick the lump sum option, they'll split $224 million before taxes.
UPDATE (3/17/14): No one won Friday's jackpot. $400 million, the third largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, is now up for grabs in Tuesday night's drawing.
WTVO/WQRF - Another drawing for the Mega Millions goes by without producing a jackpot winner.
The jackpot rolls over and now the prize is set at $353 million for now.
It's a common sight now for Mega Millions to have such high grand prize amounts. Ever since officials made changes to the game in October, the odds of winning decreased. The idea was to have the jackpot grow larger and faster, while also increasing the odds of winning smaller cash prizes.
The next drawing is Friday night at 10pm.
