Want a Free Pass to Airfest? Volunteer!

ROCKFORD -- The Rockford Airfest is coming back this year after federal sequester cuts last year grounded the Air Force Thunderbirds and Army Golden Knights.  Both will perform at this year's Airfest, but organizers need volunteer help to pull it off.

For a minimum commitment of one, six-hour shift, volunteers receive one complimentary admission and meal and a special edition volunteer t-shirt.
Volunteer information including applications, position descriptions and requirements are online at rockfordairfest.com under the “Volunteers” tab. Positions for set-up, tear-down, maintenance, entrance sales, security, static display guard, volunteer committee and floaters are available.  Interested volunteers must complete the online form and will be matched based on availability and committee need.

For additional information, please contact volunteer coordinator, Rita McGeary at airfestvolunteers@flyrfd.com or 815-969-4018.
