J-Hawks Getting Back To Normal

Things are settling down after a tumultuous start to the week.

ROCKFORD - It's been a tumultuous first week of practices for the Jefferson J-Hawks. On Monday several J-Hawks sat out practice showing their disappointment over the dismissal of then head coach Ken DuBose.

Tuesday several players missed practice again to attend the school board meeting to show their support for DuBose. But now things have settled down and are returning to normal according to new head coach Tony Ambrogio.

"We've gotten everybody back. Everyone is focused on football. Obviously things are still going to be in flux a little bit while we're making the transition but other than that we're business as usual."

The season opens in two weeks.
