SAN ANTONIO-A broken air conditioner was the big story in game one of the NBA Finals Thursday. A power failure led to a malfunctioning air conditioner at the arena causing the temperature inside to top 90 degrees in the second half.

The Heat took its toll on everyone, but none more than LeBron James. He cramped up in the fourth quarter and had to be helped to the bench. Meanwhile San Antonio's three-point shooters caught fire, and the Spurs pulled away to a 110-95 win. The Spurs outscored the Heat 31-9 at the end of the game.

The Spurs made 13 of 25 three-point attempts in the game. Tim Duncan was high scorer for the Spurs with 21 points. James led the Heat with 25 points in only 33 minutes of court time.

Game two of the series will be played Saturday night.
