ROCKFORD-A packed house watched the Auburn Knights cruise to a surprisingly easy 78-48 win over Boylan Friday night. That clinched the NIC-10 Championship for the Knights, their third in four years.

It was a game of streaks. Auburn bolted out to a 13 point lead early in the second quarter behind a fastbreak attack and some pinpoint passing by LayTwan Porter.

But Boylan came back to cut it to three at halftime 32-29. Brock Stull hit a big three and Demry Croft had a Thunderous dunk during the Titans' rally.

But the third quarter was all Auburn. The Knights outscored the Titans 24-6 in that quarter. The Knights defensive limited Boylan to 19 points in the entire second half.

Auburn had a balanced attack with five players in double figures led by Pittman's 15 points. Stull had 23 points for Boylan.
