Chicago, Ill.- The Blackhawks announced Wednesday that they have recalled Goaltender Mac Carruth from the IceHogs. Carruth, 22, has split the season between the IceHogs, and the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye and Florida Everblades. He posted a 2-2-1 record with a 3.36 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage in seven games with Rockford. The Blackhawks selected Carruth in the seventh round, 191st overall, of the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
The Blackhawks play their first playoff game Thursday night in Saint Louis against the Blues. Puck drops at 7:00.
