After another Boylan volleyball win, the best player the area has ever produced took a second to reflect on an amazing four year ride. Bryanna Weiskircher will play at Penn State next fall, but it’s the last four years that she’s soaking in right now.

“It’s been an amazing experience. We’ve grown so much and getting to play varsity as a freshman and the past four years has just been an amazing experience," Weiskircher said.

Bryanna has led Boylan to what will be four straight NIC-10 championships, but it’s tough to figure out who deserves more credit for her development.

“She leads by example, she’s a vocal leader and that’s something that, especially with her position, is really important," Boylan volleyball coach Amanda Carlson said.

Weiskircher was equally complimentary of her coach. “Amanda is an amazing coach and I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Volleyball is as much a team game as any, but it’s clear the Titans will miss Bryanna once she’s graduated and moved on.

“It’s been a lot of fun. She’s a lot of fun to coach…it’s hard to put into words,” Carlson admitted.

Despite all the wins and success that the Boylan Titans have had during Weiskircher's four years, it's the relationships she'll miss the most.

“We’re really like a family. I have never been this close with a team before. We get along really well and it comes out when we’re on the court."
