"It starts with getting along off the court," says Van Vleet. "We're all friends and we all can talk and hang out and we all understand each othe and respect each other. And then it carries over to the court. We all understand each other's games. You know the two years that this group the top seven eight have had together has been a great bonding experience building chemistry throughout last year, and then you implement a coach who and a coaching staff who know how to put it all together it really pays off."
Wichita State will take the court Friday evening for round one of the NCAA in St. Louis.
