Jabari Parker will pass up his final three years of college ball at Duke and enter the NBA draft. Parker is an Illinois High School legend and won four State Championships at Chicago Simeon. Now, the 6 foot 8 freshman at Duke he averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. He led the Blue Devils to a 26-9 season. Parker became the first freshman to lead the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding. He's also the highest scoring freshman in Duke history. He is projected as the number two overall pick behind Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins but definitely has a chance to be number one.
"He had a fantastic freshman year and is so deserving of the opportunity to play in the NBA and follow his dream," wrote Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski in a statement released Thursday.
