Former SIUC and NIU head football coach Jerry Kill will take a leave of absence from the University of Minnesota to seek treatment for epilepsy.

Kill has suffered five seizures on gameday in his two-plus years with Minnesota. Kill and the school have not set a time table in which he will attempt to return.
