Shockers Go 31-0

ROCKFORD-Fred Van Vleet and his Wichita State teammates have made it through the regular season unscathed. The Shockers blasted Missouri State 68-45 Saturday to finish up with a 31-0 record. They're the first NCAA team to go undefeated in the regular season since St. Joseph in 2003-04.

The Shockers are also the first Missouri Valley Conference team to go undefeated (18-0) since Bradley in 1985-86.

Van Vleet had seven assists in Saturday's game. Cleanthony Early led the Shockers with 19 points.

Next up, the Shockers will play in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament March 6th-7th in St. Louis.
