Fred Van Vleet is one of ten semifinalists for one

ROCKFORD-Fred Van Vleet is up for one of college basketball's biggest awards. He's one of ten semifinalists for the Naismith Award. It's presented by the Atlanta Tipoff Club to college basketball's player of the year.

The field of ten will be trimmed to four finalists on March 23rd. The winner will be announced at the Final Four in Dallas.

Van Vleet is a sophomore point guard for 30-0 Wichita State. He's from Rockford Auburn High School.
