IceHogs narrowly miss playoffs on last day of season.

After an exciting end to the season that saw them win eight of nine and go on an absolute tear on offense, the Rockford IceHogs narrowly missed out on the playoffs when the Milwaukee Admirals beat Peoria 3-0 on the season's final day.

The IceHogs finished with the second most goals in the entire AHL (246) but missed the playoffs for the third consecutive season. Center Brandon Pirri won the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the leading scorer in the AHL.
