Lena-Winslow beat Chicago Leo from start to finish, cruising to a 45-22 win and advancing to the 1A state championship game.
The Panthers continued their torrid play throughout the playoffs After suffering three losses early in the season, the Panthers have played their best ball as the games have gotten bigger. They jumped out to a 25-0 lead on Leo and never looked back.
Once again, their most valuable player was running back Tyler Oakley. Oakley broke off numerous big runs, rushing for over 300 yards on the day and helping Lena-Winslow control the clock after building an early lead.
