ROCKFORD-Here's what's new in high school football in the Stateline this year.

Pecatonica has a varsity team again this year, after going dormant at the varsity level last year.

Dixon and Johnsburg have joined the Big Northern Conference.

Rochelle has moved from the Northern Illinois Big 12 East to the West.

For the first time since 1988 Jerry Lano is not the head coach at Dakota. Rick Schmitz has that job now.

And Harlem has new field turf at Peterson Stadium.
