Champaign-The Fighting Illini are going through their first week of practice. They need to find a quarterback to replace the graduated Nathan Scheelhaase. Wes Lunt might be the guy.

He sat out last year after transferring from Oklahoma State. He's battling Reilly O'Toole and Aaron Baily for the starting job. Lunt is enjoying his Illini experience so far.

"It was fun. We got to fly around, and I was excited," said Lunt following practice. "I thought the offense played pretty well just trying to get stronger and faster in the offseason just trying to stay healthy. I'ts a big thing just work with these offensive linemen and receivers on chemistry."
