Griffin To Be Next East Football Coach

ROCKFORD-Eyewitness News has learned that Gary Griffin will be the next head football coach at East High School. An official announcement will be forthcoming from District 205.

Griffin has been the athletic director at Rockford Lutheran High School since 2010. During that time Lutheran has been strong across the board in all sports, especially in football and boys basketball.

Griffin is a 1988 graduate of Lutheran. He played college football at Concordia University in Wisconsin. He was an assistant coach at the University of Dubuque, and he was a head coach at Bay View High School in Milwaukee.

Griffin will replace Jeremy Warren at East.
