ROCKFORD-The Rock Valley College Softball team is wasting no time in preparing for the 2015 season despite just finishing the 2014 season with a national championship two weeks ago.

The Golden Eagles have added another big bat to its 2014-15 recruiting class by signing Milledgeville High School’s Morgan Adolph to an NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) letter of intent.

Adolph batted .489 with nine home runs and 45 runs batted in this season for Milledgeville. She was a First Team All-State selection in her junior year and will be playing in the Illinois Super 60 Seniors All-Star game this summer.

Rock Valley College just won the first NJCAA national championship for softball in the college’s history on May 17, completing a record-setting 42-9 season under third year head coach Darin Monroe.
