Bears Sign Top Pick Fuller

LAKE FOREST, IL — The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with CB Kyle Fuller on a four-year contract with a fifth-year option.

The 5-11, 190-pound Fuller started 42-of-50 games at Virginia Tech collecting 173 tackles (129 solos) - including 4.5 and 23.5 tackles for losses, six interceptions, 21 pass break ups, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He also blocked three kicks and recovered one for a touchdown. A team-captain as a senior, Fuller garnered Walter Camp Football Foundation second-team All-American honors and first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors recording 24 tackles, two interceptions, 10 pass break ups, one forced fumble and a blocked kick in nine games played with eight starts.

The Bears have reached agreement with seven of their eight 2014 Draft picks after agreeing to terms with S Brock Vereen and QB David Fales on Monday and DT Ego Ferguson, RB Ka’Deem Carey, P Patrick O’Donnell and T Charles Leno, Jr. on Tuesday.
