Rockford, Illinois-Courtney Clayton showed her dominant speed Friday at the NIC-10 Girls Track & Field Championships at Guilford.
Clayton won the 200m, 400m, 800m, and 3200m runs. She set a meet record in the 800m with a time of 2:09:30. Patrice Jones also stood out for Hononegah. She took first in the 100m dash and she was also part of Hononegah's winning 4x100, and 4x200 relays. She was part of Hononegah's 4x400 relay that took second.
East senior Logan Tillmon also stood out. She won both hurdles events, the high jump and she was on the winning 4x100 relay team.
