DEKALB-NIU is less than three days away from its season opener, and the Huskies still don't have a starting quarterback.

In the mind of Rod Carey he has three starters at that position. But through the month of August no one from the trio of Matt McIntosh, Drew Hare and Anthony Maddie has risen above the others.  Carey says he has lost some sleep over wrestling over his decision, but he believes the Huskie offense will ultimately be in good hands no matter which guy takes the field Thursday night against Presbyterian.

"My expectations for the quarterbacks are real easy, and I've laid them out," says Carey. "I don't care who's in there. They've all performed at such a high level, and I expect that person that's in there to play well. They've proven that they can do that right now. So as we get closer to it, we'll let them know."

Carey says he would rather not get into a situation of rotating quarterbacks, but it's possible more than one guy will see action Thursday.
