ROCKFORD-North Shore Country Day school in Winnetka has forfeited Friday's high school football game scheduled to be played at Christian Life. Country Day is short on numbers partly due to injuries.

Christian Life head coach Tony Ambrogio tells Eyewitness News that, "North Shore Country Day has sent a formal letter to us and the IHSA forfeiting this Friday's contest. The Christian Life administration team did everything in their power to preserve a game, but was not able to sway the decision of NSCD. Christian Life moves to 4-1, but obviously not the way we wanted to."
