London- Novak Djokovic kept Roger Federer from winning a record eighth Wimbledon title Sunday. Djokovic beat Federer 6-7 (7), 6-4, 7-6 (4), 5-7, 6-4 in the men’s final at Wimbledon. The match took nearly four hours to complete and the momentum shifted numerous times. This is Djokovic’s second Wimbledon title and a bit of a comeback after losing his past three major finals.

There is a huge amount of mutual respect between these two players. Djokovic addressed Federer directly after the match saying, “I respect your career and everything you have done. And thank you for letting me win today.” Djokovic has now won seven grand slam titles.
