ST. LOUIS-The Packers are in the win column for the first time in 2014. They beat the Rams in preseason action 21-7 Saturday.

Aaron Rodgers was six-for-six on the Packers opening 86 yard drive. It finished with Rodgers hitting Randall Cobb for a touchdown. Cobb caught three passes for 34 yards in the game. Rodgers finished 11 of 13 for 128 yards.

Scott Tolzien took over for Rodgers. He completed 10 of 15 passes for 107 yards. Matt Flynn finished up. He completed two passes in three attempts. One of those was a 34 yard touchdown to rookie Jeff Janis.

Eddie Lacy rushed for 25 yards on five carriers.

The downside for the Packers. They were whistled for 12 penalties totaling 95 yards. Aaron Rodgers wasn't happy with the calls.

"It's way over the top, it's just too much," Rodgers said. "The game's way too choppy if they're going to call it like that."

The Packers next preseason game will be Friday at home against the Raiders.
