ROCKFORD - The field of pros for the upcoming Rockford Pro-Am Golf Tournament continues to evolve.
On Thursday five more golfers were outed while four dropped out.
The additions are Brandon Hay, a 26 year old rookie who is one of the big-hitters on the PGA tour. He's currently third in driving distance. Also added five-time Web.com Tour winner Martin Piller, two-time PGA Tour winner Kevin Streelman, five-time PGA Tour winner Mark Wilson, and Indiana University alum Steve Wheatcroft.
Pulling out of the Pro-Am were Bobby Wyatt, Brian Campbell, Scott Langley and Brendon Todd. They're choosing to focus their attention on their Tour status for 2018 according to Pro-Am recruiter Adam Nicholas.
The Rockford Pro-Am will be held Monday, July 17 at the Rockford Country Club.
