After a nine year career that saw him begin as a starting safety and finish as a special teams standout, former Byron football star Sean Considine is officially retiring from the NFL.
Considine will leave the league on top: He was a valuable part of the Baltimore Ravens' special teams unit, including throwing a key block on Jacoby Jones' game-changing touchdown run in the Super Bowl win.
Considine says the game of football has been too good for him to walk away for good. He will look to join Byron High School's football coaching staff as soon as this fall, where his best friend Jeff Boyer is the head coach of the Tigers.
