Ski Broncs 'Golden' At Regionals

They turned in a strong performance on their 50th anniversary at Regionals.

LOVES PARK - The Ski Broncs are marking their 50th anniversary on the water by hosting the Central Regional Show Ski Tournament and the National Tournament.

The National Tournament will be held in early August. The Central Regional Tournament began Saturday at Shorewood Park.

The individual competition was held in the morning. In the afternoon three of the six teams entered hit the water, Silver Kale, Chippewa lake and the Ski Broncs.

Sunday morning the remaining three teams will perform Wonder Lake, the Lake City Skiers and the Backwater Gamblers.

The Ski Broncs got off to a strong start Saturday by pulling off an opening team pyramid. They followed up with an assortment of trick ski maneuvers, barefoot starts, prefabricated pyramids, doubles teams maneuvers and swivels before a big finish that had them successfully pull off a four level team pyramid.

The finals results of the regional competition will be announced Sunday afternoon after the three remaining teams compete.
