Pearson Resigns At Belvidere

BELVIDERE - Belvidere boys head basketball coach Aaron Pearson has resigned after 11 seasons guiding the Bucs.

Pearson tells Eyewitness News that he wants to spend more time with his family. He has two very young children.

The Bucs struggled this season finishing with a record of 6-24. They were 3-13 in the NIC-10. But several of their best seasons came with Pearson guiding them. In 2012-13 the Bucs won the NIC-10 championship. That's Belvidere's only NIC-10 championship in boys basketball.
