Titans Not Worried About Style Points

ROCKFORD - Boylan will head to Woodstock North for Class 3A Sectional Action on Wednesday. The Titans will play Wheaton St. Francis.

The Titans started slow last week in both of their games at the Belvidere Regional before winning both games. They're not worried about style points. They just hope to keep grinding out wins.

"At this point of this season in the playoffs it really just comes down to who's winning at the end of the game," says Boylan senior Jack Zuba. "The final score is all that matters. We got the wins now we're focusing on the next team. We're grinding these wins out. Obviously they're going to become more difficult. We've just got to keep doing what we've been doing. We're having guys stepping up making big plays."

"I think at this point we're happy to be practicing still and not so much worried about the scores and how we won," says Boylan coach Brett McAllister. "Just advance with, where expectations were this year I think is pretty special."
