BOURBONNAIS, IL — The Chicago Bears signed OL Rob Turner to a one-year contract and waived OL Graham Pocic.
The 6-4, 308-pound Turner has started 24-of-63 games played over seven seasons with the N.Y. Jets (2007-11), St. Louis Rams (2012) and Tennessee Titans (2013) after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico. The Austin, Texas native has made 15 starts at center, seven at left guard and two as a sixth eligible lineman during his NFL career with 22 of those starts coming in the last two seasons.
Pocic was signed by the Bears at the end of July. The 6-7, 310-pound Lemont, Ill. native originally signed with the St. Louis Rams in 2013 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Illinois.
