Hawks Head Home for Game 7

Los Angeles- The Blackhawks avoided elimination for the second straight game and forced a Game 7 with a 4-3 win over the Kings Friday night. Patrick Kane scored the Hawks' first goal of the game with an assist from Jonathan Toews. Ben Smith scored the second goal in the second period assisted by Patrick Sharp and Brent Seabrook. The Blackhawks blew a lead heading into the third period by allowing goals from Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez. The Hawks trailed 3-2 in the third period but Duncan Keith scored the tying goal with 8:26 left in the game. Then Kane scored his second and tiebreaking goal with 3:45 to play. Corey Crawford was a huge factor in the Blackhawks's win with 29 saves. Game 7 is Sunday in Chicago.
